DUBLIN FOOTBALLER PHILLY McMahon has spoken about the personal grief he suffered following the death of his older brother in a moving interview on last night’s The Late Late Show.
The Ballymun native spoke at length about his personal life to Ryan Tubridy and the untold pain he and his family have gone through after his brother, John, passed away after a long battle with drug addiction.

“Everything I am today is because of him,” he said. “I’ve seen the pain he’s gone through with drugs, and that’s probably why I’ve taken up sport and business.”
