AIRTRICITY LEAGUE CHAMPIONS Cork City have three representatives on the PFAI Premier Division Team of the Year for 2017.
But it is league runners-up Dundalk who take the lion’s share of the places with four nominees while Derry City, Shamrock Rovers and Galway United complete the selection.
Sean Gannon, Niclas Vemmelund, Patrick McEleney and David McMillan are the four Lilywhites to feature in the end-of-season XI — which is voted for by the players themselves — while for Cork, Ryan Delaney, Gearoid Morrissey and Seanie Maguire get the nod.
