Pep to City and Müller to United? The duo have both given hints about their future

Will the Bayern duo be moving to England soon?

IT IS FUNNY how even after winning the Bundesliga with ease in his only two seasons at the club, there appears to be discontent growing with Pep Guardiola at the Allianz Arena.

The general opinion seems to be that the Spaniard was brought in to deliver the Champions League and after losing 5-0 on aggregate in the semi-final last year, it looks like Bayern might get a similar hiding from Barcelona this season.

Guardiola has one year left to run on his contract, and has been repeatedly linked with taking over at Manchester City. However, the former Barca boss remained defiant that he would still be in Munich next season.

“I have one year left on my contract. I’ll stay here next season. That is all,” he insisted at a press conference.

The terse response from Pep was echoed by Bayern star Thomas Muller when he was asked about a potential move to Manchester United. Muller was given his Bayern debut by current United boss Louis van Gaal, and although the playmaker heaped praise on the Dutchman, he insisted, like his manager, that he will honour his current contract.

“It’s a secret for nobody,” he is quoted as saying by The Independent.

“Louis van Gaal and I have a relationship that goes beyond that which is normal between a player and a coach. However, I have a contract with Bayern until 2017.”
