CHELSEA WON 3-2 up at West Brom with new signing Pedro claiming a debut goal and an assist for the Londoners in today’s early Premier League game.
The former Barcelona man’s shot from the edge of the box was deflected into the net off Jonas Olsson on 20 minutes, after good work from Eden Hazard, who managed to turn and wriggle away from his marker in the build-up.

Pedro was also heavily involved for Chelsea’s second goal.
Following a swift counter-attack, the Spanish international’s cross-shot was diverted in by Diego Costa.
However, it was far from plain sailing for Jose Mourinho’s men, who have endured a disappointing start to the season.
After 14 minutes, James Morrison’s penalty was saved by the legs of the returning Thibaut Courtois, after Nemanja Matic’s clumsy foul on Callum McManaman handed the Baggies a spot kick.
And the hosts eventually did score on 34 minutes. A deep cross was kept alive by Salomon Rondon, before Morrison atoned for his earlier miss by blasting home from the edge of the box.
However, César Azpilicueta gave Chelsea some breathing space just before half-time. The full-back slotted the ball home following Costa’s chest down on the edge of the box.
The second half was similarly lively. John Terry received a red card, after bringing down Rondon, who was through on goal.
Morrison then grabbed his second of the afternoon, brilliantly heading home McManaman’s cross from a difficult angle, and intensifying the pressure on 10-man Chelsea in the process.
However, the Blues ultimately held firm to secure a much-needed three points.
