IT’S HARDLY MUSIC to the ears of Chelsea fans but you certainly can’t question Pedro’s honesty.
At his farewell press conference in Barcelona, the attacker was asked why he had moved to London when so many had expected him to join Manchester United.
“I’m grateful so many clubs were interested in me, such as Manchester United and City”, he said.
Chelsea were the club that resolved the situation the quickest and who showed the most interest in me.”
The 28-year-old’s comments will surely serve to frustrate United fans even more. At the weekend, their side struggled to a scoreless draw at home to Newcastle and lacked any great verve in the final third. Meanwhile, Pedro scored one and created one on his Chelsea debut.
Pedro has essentially backed up what his agent had to say about the transfer saga last week. Antonio Sanz spoke of how United ‘fell asleep’ with Chelsea moving fast, ‘like a lightning bolt’ to secure the Spaniard’s services.

I’m just saying that all the pressure is on Arsenal tonight because they are at home. If Liverpool could get a draw it would be a great result and if they lose it won’t be the end of the world as long as they beat West Ham at home.

I don’t think home and away matches are that different anymore in the premier league. I wouldn’t say Arenal have an advantage. I wouldn’t be over the moon with a draw but I’d take it. Arsenal should win though, I just feel atm arsenal are more a coherent squad and have 1 player than can win a game single handedly for any team
