Waterford and Wexford to play benefit game in aid of broken shin victim Mahony and Pieta House

The match will be held on 30 May.

THE WATERFORD AND Wexford hurling teams will face off in a senior hurling challenge in aid of injured hurler Pauric Mahony and the charity Pieta House.

Mahony, one of the stars of Waterford’s recent league winning campaign, has been ruled out for the season after breaking his shin recently in a championship game with his club Ballygunner.

Now his club Ballygunner have got the two counties to come together as they have organised a charity game in aid of Mahony and Pieta House, the suicide prevention charity.

The match will take place on Saturday 30 May at Ballygunner hurling club with admission €10 for adults and juveniles are free.
