Munster and Ireland legend Paul O'Connell has been unveiled as a Toulon player

The 36-year-old is currently at his first RCT press conference.

TOULON HAVE UNVEILED new signing Paul O’Connell at a press conference in Stade Mayol after the Ireland and Munster legend arrived in France.

The former Ireland captain has begun his two-year contract with the three-time European champions, a deal that is understood to be worth more than €1 million.

The 36-year-old is currently on the comeback trail after the severe hamstring injury he suffered during Ireland’s World Cup campaign. O’Connell himself is on the record as being hopeful of playing again this season, although Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal is confident that the legendary lock with return early in 2016.

O’Connell was photographed with his new Toulon teammates earlier today, before visiting the club’s training facilities and stadium. He is currently involved in a press conference alongside club manager Tom Whitford.
