'No one likes Gary Neville': Ince & Carragher pick their best combined Liverpool/Man Utd XI

With so many high-profile names in the mix, what team did they settle on?

AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK.

But legendary football figures Jamie Carragher and Paul Ince recently joined forces to put together a combined XI of who they felt were the best Liverpool and Manchester United players they played alongside.

The defender spent his entire career with the Mersey club, making his debut in 1997 before retiring in 2013, while Ince spent six seasons at Old Trafford. During their respective spells with each team, the pair racked up one Champions League, two league titles, four FA Cups, one Uefa Cup, one Uefa Cup Winners’ Cup and three League Cups between them.

Think of the gifted players they shared a dressing room with. And think of the agonising dilemma of which ones to leave out of a combined XI.

Watching two greats struggle over a team selection sure makes for very entertaining fare!
