Kerry legend Galvin set for club transfer to Kilmacud Crokes - report

Galvin, 36, set to help Crokes in a bid to regain their Dublin senior hurling crown.

ALL-IRELAND WINNING Kerry footballer Paul Galvin is set to transfer clubs and join Kilmacud Crokes, according to reports this morning.

Newstalk’s Oisin Langan reports that Galvin’s switch to the south Dublin giants is in process.

But the three-time All-Star and former Footballer of the Year is expected to line out solely for the Crokes hurlers if his move is rubber-stamped.

Although he concentrated on football since his early inter-county days, Galvin remained a dual star at club level, winning an All-Ireland football title at junior level with Finuge, senior county honours with the Feale Rangers divisional side, and three county hurling titles with Lixnaw.

He retired from inter-county football for a second time earlier this year with eight Munster championships and four All-Ireland titles to his name.
