Look at the level of detail in Pádraig Harrington's notes for the Masters

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

EVEN THE WORLD’S top golfers struggle with the intricacies of Augusta National. That’s what makes the Masters such compelling viewing.

Pádraig Harrington has a good track record at the season’s first Major with four top-10 finishes since 2002.

He missed the cut in 2013 and then failed to qualify in 2014 so it’s no surprise that he’s swotting up ahead of his return.

Harrington posted this picture on Twitter, giving an insight into the level of preparation that’s necessary as soon as you set foot on Magnolia Lane.

“Busiest yardage book of the year,” he wrote on Monday.

“Still adding notes every time I play Augusta. No course is as complicated.”

It looks like the kind of work you’d need a degree in advanced physics to decipher.
