IRISH STRIKER PADRAIG Amond took his league total to 30 goals last night with a hat-trick as Grimsby Town beat Woking 3-1.

Amond’s treble included this superb strike, curled from the edge of the box to help Grimsby on their way in their National League promotion push.

“Possibly the best goal I’ve ever scored,” the former Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers man tweeted this morning.

“Collectors item too from outside the box.”

Grimsby need two points from their remaining two games to secure their play-off place and a shot at promotion to League Two.
