Ollie Phillips' outrageous suit was the main talking point from the Top 14 final

Stade took on Clermont in Paris this evening.

FORMER STADE FRANCAIS back Ollie Phillips was in studio for Sky Sports’ coverage of this evening’s Top 14 final, and it’s clear that his time playing in one of the fashion capitals of the world didn’t have a positive impact on the Englishman.

Stade Francais ended an eight-year wait for Top 14 honours to defeat Clermont Auvergne 12-6 in a pretty disappointing final at the Stade de France.

In the first-half, Morne Steyn kicked three penalties for Stade before Camille Lopez replied with one for Clermont just before the interval.

Brock James came off the bench to close the gap to three with a 62nd-minute penalty, but Steyn closed out the win for Stade by kicking his fourth of the night with the last action of the game.
