Northern Ireland are one win away from reaching Euro 2016

Michael O’Neill’s men earned a crucial away win this evening.

NORTHERN IRELAND ARE just one win away from reaching Euro 2016 after beating Faroe Islands 3-1 this evening.

A Joan Simun Edmundsson goal cancelled out Gareth McAuley’s header in the first half, but another McAuley header and a Kyle Lafferty strike wrapped up Michael O’Neill’s side’s victory in the second half.

The result means Northern Ireland can qualify for Euro 2016 if they beat Hungary at home on Monday.
