The WNL Player of the Year is moving to Scotland.

SHELBOURNE LADIES STRIKER Noelle Murray has been rewarded for a superb season in the Women’s National League with a first professional contract.

The striker has signed for Scottish Premier League champions Glasgow City Ladies.

Murray was yesterday named WNL Senior Player of the Year for her outstanding performances for Shels as she helped the club to claim a first league and cup double in 2016.

In a statement released this evening, Shelbourne said it was the right time for the 27-year-old to move to Scotland and ply her trade professionally for a club who have won the domestic title 10 years in a row.
