THE JANUARY TRANSFER window threw up a couple of intriguing signings but probably none more so than Alvaro Brachi’s switch to Slovenian club NK Domzale.
The reason?
Well, it happened across LinkedIn – the networking website.
Domzale were in the market for a new right-back because of an injury to their captain and, needing a replacement quickly, the team’s head coach Luka Elsner took to his LinkedIn page to get the word out.
According to the club, they received responses from 150 interested candidates and after watching some footage of the players short-listed, they made a formal move for Brachi who has experience in Spain, Cyprus and Hungary.
Domzale are currently third in the Slovenian top-flight, which is currently on its winter break, and are in next in action on 26th February.
Brachi made his debut for the club in a recent friendly with Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC but it proved a difficult introduction for him as Domzale suffered a 2-0 defeat.
Come on Ronnie!!!
He’ll probably come out win 3 frames on trot with max 147 (if money is good enough) and then walk off saying ‘nah cant be arsed’
Ronnie is to snooker as woods is to golf or at least was
I hope he gets knocked out , he’s a super talent but his pick and play when he feels like annoys me , also the 147 that he decided not to take on cause it was only worth 10,000 sickened me some what , he could have given it to charity . Does he think he’s bigger then the game
Zzzzz
