He was fined and banned because of his on-court behaviour in October. He was also involved in a Wimbledon row after he was heard labeling one of his own support team as ‘retarded’, and was caught sledging Stan Wawrinka in August 2015.
His controversial career took another turn last night as he appeared at a press conference wearing a “F**k Donald Trump” t-shirt, shortly after defeating Rafael Nadal in Sydney.
Kyrgios changed into the top, which pictured the US president-elect complete with devil horns, after the exhibition match in his homeland.

When questioned on his choice of t-shirt, he told the media that “it’s pretty explanatory”.
The Canberra native then returned to his dressing room and changed back into his Nike-branded sports top after the interview.
The player, who is without a coach and currently managing a knee injury, is preparing for next week’s Australian Open.
