Nick Diaz: "McGregor ain't worked with nobody."

'They've a guy swinging a f**king pool noodle at you' - Nick Diaz brands McGregor camp a joke

The latest episode of UFC Embedded is here.

NICK DIAZ HAS taken aim at Conor McGregor’s coaching team and branded their preparations for UFC 196 as a joke.

McGregor has once again been working with movement expert Ido Portal ahead of Saturday’s clash with the younger Diaz brother, Nate, in the MGM Grand Garden.

Portal and McGregor first teamed up ahead of December’s stunning featherweight title win against Jose Aldo, and is playing a central part in the Dubliner’s camp again this week.

In the latest episode of UFC Embedded, Nick Diaz questioned the quality of McGregor’s training as well as Portal’s credentials.

“They give you a fight with the fucking new guy who is supposed to be the shit but he ain’t worked with nobody,” he said.

He ain’t worked with no black belts. He ain’t had no legitimate sparring, has no legitimate trainer.

“Look at (Richard Perez, Nate Diaz’s boxing coach) — this is ridiculous. You don’t have anyone in MMA on a level like this.

“They have a fucking guy swinging a fucking pool noodle at you, smacking you in the face with it, trying to promote his own shit. It’s a joke.”
