NEYMAR COULD HAVE to wait another week before making his Ligue 1 debut for PSG.
French authorities are yet to receive documentation from the Spanish football federation meaning they can give the player permission to play against Guingamp on Sunday.
The BBC report that if the deadline is missed by the Spanish football federation to file the necessary documents on Thursday night, the forward cannot be picked in Unai Emery’s matchday squad for this weekend’s game.

Should the deadline be missed it would mean Neymar would have to wait until at least 20 August before lining out for his new club for the very first time.
Complications have arisen due to the fact that transfers between two different countries require a Fifa International Transfer Certificate (CIT), which is the document French authorities are to yet to receive.
When the certificate is delivered a player’s registration date is added to Fifa’s transfer system, meaning they are now eligible to play for their new club.
The Brazilian’s transfer has caused much consternation between French and Spanish football officials over recent weeks.
La Liga believe that PSG violated Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations with the €222 million buy, with Barcelona also claiming they would report the club for a breach of conduct.
