First impressions: The jersey itself looks good to us, the neckline on the old one (below if you’ve worked hard to forget the Six Nations) was far too round for our tastes, so the high neck and simple collar is a big improvement.
The only quibble we have with it is the clash of the red of the new Vodafone logo with the green of the jersey.

As an aside, fair play to Ultan Dillane for dragging himself out of bed to be in Dublin this morning while all his team-mates are enjoying breakfast in the Galway sun, squinting because of the glint of their medals reflecting harsh light into their eyes.
