Down by 14 points with 65 seconds left, Nevada produced a comeback for the ages

New Mexico will be working on their free-throws this week, you’d imagine.

AS COMEBACKS GO, this is pretty special from the Nevada Wolf Pack side, the University of Nevada’s college outfit.

Trailing New Mexico by 14 points with just over a minute on the clock, Nevada produced an exhibition in three-point shooting down the stretch to claim an extremely unlikely win in overtime.

They were undoubtedly helped by New Mexico’s woeful run from the free-throw line but they sensed their opponents were rattled and pounced at the death.

Nevada were behind by 25 points with 11 minutes to play in regulation time, by 14 points with 65 seconds left, and by two points with four seconds of overtime remaining.

But none of that mattered as they proved their resilience time and time again to claim a remarkable 105-104 victory.

Jordan Caroline was Nevada’s star of the show, registering 45 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists and five blocks.
