Neil Seery booked to face former UFC title challenger in Rotterdam

The Dubliner will take on Kyoji Horiguchi.

DUBLINER NEIL SEERY will face Kyoji Horiguchi at UFC Fight Night: Overeem v Arlovski in May.

The Irish Sun report that the 37-year-old has agreed to the take up the offer from UFC chiefs.

Seery’s last outing in the Octagon was the memorable submission win over Jon Delos Reyes at UFC Dublin in the Three Arena last October.

Horiguchi, the sixth-ranked flyweight, was submitted by Demetrious Johnson last year in the main event at UFC 186.

“He has a karate-type stance, which is really awkward to fight against,” he told Aidan O’Donoghue. ”He hits hard, he has good wrestling. It’s going to be one of the hardest fights I’ve had at flyweight.”
