NEIL SEERY’S FINAL fight before retirement has been fixed for UFC 208 in Brooklyn next February.
The Dublin veteran, 37, was due to face Ian McCall in a farewell bout at UFC Belfast last month but the fight was cancelled when McCall pulled out at short notice due to illness.
Now UFC officials have confirmed that the flyweight fight has been rescheduled for the 11 February card at the Barclays Center.
The card could be headlined by a featherweight unification fight between Jose Aldo and Max Holloway, with Holloway eyeing the date after he beat Anthony Pettis and won the interim title last weekend.
Holly Holm will take on Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural women’s featherweight title, the UFC announced on Tuesday night, while Glover Teixeira and Jared Cannonier have also been confirmed for a light-heavyweight fight.

Holloway said he wouldn’t fight on the 11th of February because it’s only 8 weeks out and he wants to spend time with his family.

Not sure Holloway is in any position to turn down a fight with Aldo, if Aldo’s ready to go, that fight is happening
