A FEW WEEKS ago it appeared that Heineken’s Twitter account accidentally ‘released’ Neil Back’s mobile number during a photo shoot and many angry Irish rugby fans took the opportunity to release 13-years of pent up anger in the form of a few expletive-riddled messages.
The reason for the vitriol? Oh, just Neil Back costing Munster their first ever Heineken Cup trophy in 2002.
Turns out the number release was a stunt pulled by Heineken and they picked three fans who sent Back messages and invited them to Dublin to collect two free tickets for the Leinster v Bath Champions Cup quarter-final.
Neil Back was in attendance, and really made the trio squirm.
One guy in particular seem to wither under Back’s stare.
It may have been 12 years ago, but there is definitely plenty of fans who still think that Back deserved all the stick he got.
And it will be great to see the ‘hand of Back’ addressed when the flanker and former Munster scrum-half Peter Stringer are both on TV3′s World Cup coverage in the autumn.
3 Irish rugby fans got serious comeuppance for trolling Neil Back in this great prank

Zebre might sneakily be plotting a Toulon-style world domination after adding another import
Is this Leinster team good enough to slay Europe’s most formidable giant?
