Munster sign 2 new players on short-term deals

A Rugby World Cup player and a former Ulster flanker have signed with the province.

MUNSTER HAVE SIGNED fullback Lucas Gonzalez Amorosino and flanker Sean Doyle on short-term deals, it has been confirmed.

Amorosino, who has featured for Argentina at the Rugby World Cup and is set to play in Friday’s bronze medal match against South Africa, and Australian Sean Doyle, have both joined on three-month deals.

The 29-year-old fullback made 12 appearances for Cardiff Blues last season, having previously played in the Top 14 with Oyannax and Montpellier, as well as Leicester Tigers in the Premiership. He has scored six tries in 47 appearances in total for his country.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Doyle has linked up with the squad after leaving  Super Rugby side the Brumbies. He also previously played for Ulster, making 24 appearances during his time there.
