Scrum-half Lloyd among three additions to Munster European squad

Rassie Erasmus has promoted the Dubliner to replace Cathal Sheridan.

MUNSTER DIRECTOR OF rugby Rassie Erasmus has set up his squad for the knock-out stage of the Champions Cup by making three new faces eligible for the competition.

Scrum-half Angus Lloyd (signed as a loan from Ulster in November) has replaced Cathal Sheridan in the squad.

Sheridan suffered a broken leg in October, but Erasmus has waited until now to name a replacement in his European squad.

With three squad replacements permitted in the pool stage,Mike Sherry makes way from the group to be replaced by hooker Kevin O’Byrne. Ireland U20 centre Calvin Nash completes the additions, stepping in to replace Cian Bohane.
