Munster boosted with return of Murray, Earls and Conway ahead of crucial trip to France

On the down side, Donnacha Ryan sat out today’s session and Stephen Archer’s neck surgery requires his stand-in to stay on until the end of the season.

MUNSTER’S CHAMPIONS CUP hopes were boosted today with the sight of Conor Murray and Keith Earls in full training.

The southern province travel to Paris this Saturday (16.45) to play their rescheduled Pool 4 clash with Stade Francais in Stade Jean Bouin.

Earls returns from a neck injury after a worrying collision which forced him out of the inter-pro defeat to Leinster on a stretcher, while Murray has been nursing a hip complaint.

Donnacha Ryan remains unlikely to feature as he recovers from a knee injury, but the return of Dave Foley (dead leg) will soften the blow of his absence.

Head coach Anthony Foley will have further back-line options in the shape of Andrew Conway and Rory Scannell who trained today after shaking off a bruised hip and dead leg respectively.

Uruguayan prop Mario Sagario has extended his contract to the end of the season as Stephen Archer is recovering from neck surgery.
