Donnacha Ryan misses out on crucial Munster clash with Edinburgh

Anthony Foley has made five changes for the Pro12 tie in Musgrave Park.

MUNSTER COACH ANTHONY Foley has made five changes for his side’s vital Guinness Pro12 clash with Edinburgh in Musgrave Park tomorrow [KO 7.35pm, TG4].

Dave Kilcoyne, Niall Scannell, Dave Foley and Dave O’Callaghan all come into the starting pack, but Ireland international Donnacha Ryan misses out on the crucial clash as he continues his recovery from concussion.

Elsewhere, Andrew Conway starts on the right wing in place of Darren Sweetnam, who drops out of the squad altogether in making way for Ronan O’Mahony on the bench.

Captain CJ Stander is back at number eight, with Jack O’Donoghue selected on the bench, while Johnny Holland continues to be preferred to Ian Keatley at out-half.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh coach Alan Solomons has made three changes to his team as Sean Kennedy, Andries Strauss and Scotland international Matt Scott come into the backline after the defeat against Leinster two weekends ago.

Dougie Fife, who has been on Scotland sevens duty in recent times, returns to the Edinburgh bench.

Welshman Ian Davies will referee tomorrow’s contest in Cork.
