AFTER A RETURN to their more traditional alternate navy kit last season, Munster have unveiled a new dark grey jersey for the 2017/18 campaign.
The adidas kit is inspired by the battle armour worn by ancient kings of Munster and incorporates an eye-catching graphic of stag antlers on the front, according to those who make kits for a living.
The Munster crest, finished with a silver trim, is embroidered on the left chest with the adidas stripes running down each shoulder.

If you look a little closer, the Munster motto — ‘To the brave and faithful, nothing is impossible’ — is written on the sleeve in Latin.
In an ‘innovative’ move, the southern province invited 10 supporters from an entry of over 800 to launch the latest edition of the club’s alternate kit on social media.
If you’re in the market for a new jersey ahead of the new season, the kit is now available for €80 (€65 for kids) in Life Style Sports.
