JOSE MOURINHO IS expected to be officially confirmed as Manchester United manager on Friday as talks with the Premier League giants reach their endgame.
Sky Sports News report that final terms were agreed and signed at a London hotel on Thursday following a third day of talks between Mourinho and Old Trafford bosses.
The Portuguese is set to take charge on a three-year deal, thought to be worth close to €40 million in total.

Manchester United are not expected to officially confirm the news until tomorrow amid conflicting reports that some contractual loose ends are still to be tied up.
Mourinho to Man Utd still not quite done. But all looks set for tomorrow
But whatever the timeline, confirmation that Mourinho will succeed Louis van Gaal now looks to be imminent.
It was thought that difficulties concerning Mourinho’s image rights stemming from his time as Chelsea manager partly caused the delay in talks.
The self-styled ‘Special One’ will becomes United’s third manager in as many years, following David Moyes and van Gaal in their bid to build on Alex Ferguson’s legacy.
And he has already been linked with a move for another of football’s most colourful personalities, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will be available on a free transfer this summer.
