Aston Villa’s visit to White Hart Lane was the live match, and Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor endured a miserable night as Spurs went on to win 3-1.
The 29-year-old striker had just eight touches in the whole of the first half, two of which were from tip-off, before he was substituted at the break for Rudy Gestede by caretaker manager Kevin MacDonald.
