MUNSTER FINAL WEEKEND is one of those times when Cork and Kerry fans will do everything to get a little dig in at their rivals.
When it comes to football, they have long memories in the Kingdom so it’s no surprise that they remember Michael Cussen.
Cork trailed by eight points in the 2008 Munster final when Cussen was introduced at half-time. Within 15 minutes the big man from Glanmire had found the net, sparking the remarkable revival which saw Cork win by five points.
It’s really no surprise that when Cussen left his car into the NCT centre this morning, it came back with a little additional decoration.
