Watch: Michael Conlan claims comfortable win in second pro bout

The outcome rarely looked in doubt as the Irish fighter overcame Mexican Alfredo Chanez.

IRELAND’S MICHAEL CONLAN continued his winning run since turning pro with a convincing defeat of Mexican Alfredo Chanez in Chicago last night.

The Belfast native, who predicted he would win easily before the fight, dominated throughout in what was the main event on the card.

In front of 5,000 fans, the 25-year-old two-time Olympian ultimately secured a TKO third-round victory over his journeyman opponent who never looked capable of upsetting the odds.
