Chad Mendes is not happy about Conor McGregor's promise to 'rest my balls on your forehead'

“You don’t f**king do that!”

WHEN CHAD MENDES and Conor McGregor appeared on BT Sport together last year, the currently rivalry that exists between the pair began in earnest.

It was Mendes who initiated the trash talk but he obviously didn’t realise what he was getting himself in for. After the American asked McGregor if he knew what wrestling was, the Irishman replied: “I can rest my balls on your forehead.”

Mendes and McGregor will fight for the interim UFC featherweight title in Las Vegas on 11 July and they spoke to the media via a conference call last night. It’s clear that the Mendes isn’t keen on McGregor, and the Dubliner’s ballsy promise is largely responsible.

“He’s talking about putting balls on my head… you know, just being very unprofessional,” Mendes said. “This is something that made it personal. For me, you don’t fucking do that.

“This is the fight game. This is something where somebody could get seriously hurt and that’s what I’m looking to do when I get in there against Conor McGregor.”

As you’d expect, there were some interesting exchanges between the UFC 189 rivals during the course of the conference call, which you can listen to below…
