There's bad blood between McGregor and Mendes since this exchange on TV

“I can rest my balls on your forehead.”

JOSE ALDO IS no longer Conor McGregor’s opponent at UFC 189, but a fight with Aldo’s replacement, Chad Mendes, is one McGregor’s fans have wanted to see since the pair exchanged views on an episode of Beyond The Octagon on BT Sport last year.

McGregor was a studio guest, while Mendes appeared on the show via video link — or Skype as the youngsters call it these days — and the trash talk was inevitable.

It was Mendes who initiated it but, as the MMA world knows, you’ll always finish second-best in a verbal duel with the outspoken Dubliner.

When asked by Mendes if he knows what wrestling is, McGregor responded: “I can rest my balls on your forehead.”

Expect more of the same over the next week or so.
