CONOR McGREGOR WAS involved in a minor scuffle with fellow UFC star Urijah Faber before the UFC 189 weigh-ins in Las Vegas.
Faber, a team-mate of McGregor’s UFC 189 opponent Chad Mendes, has spoken on several occasions of his desire to fight McGregor and even threw his name in the hat to replace Jose Aldo when the UFC featherweight champion withdrew from this weekend’s bout.
Initially it appeared to be a good-natured exchange between the pair backstage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, but things then seemed to turn sour.

When asked afterwards what caused the incident by Ariel Helwani on FOX, McGregor played it down: “Nothing. I just… he tried to… I don’t know. I arm-dragged him into a double, I could have thrown him on his head right there and then. Nothing happened.”
