Here's the submission that humbled Conor McGregor at UFC 196

The UFC featherweight champion was forced to tap out in the closing stages of the MGM Grand headliner.

THE McGREGOR EXPRESS came to a shuddering halt tonight in Las Vegas.

As Nate Diaz landed the strikes that left Conor McGregor unstable on his feet during the latter stages of the second round of their main-event clash at UFC 196, the Irish fighter desperately shot in for a takedown.

However, his lacklustre attempt was easily defended by Diaz and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt then headed for home, softening McGregor up with strikes while in mount, before taking his back to secure a rear-naked choke submission.
