WITH JUST DAYS until he meets Jose Aldo in the biggest fight of his career, Conor McGregor hit the beach to continue preparations for UFC 194.
The latest episode of UFC Embedded followed McGregor to a sun-bathed Hermosa Beach in California on Sunday where ‘The Notorious’ worked on some drills with movement expert Ido Portal and team-mate Gunnar Nelson.
“There are two things you need to control in this game: your own body, and another body,” McGregor explained.
If you can’t move in certain ways with your own body and under your own pressure, well then you can’t move. You’ve got to figure that out.
“Then you progress. Then you discover how to control another body on top of that.”
Embedded also checks in with Aldo as he finalises his own preparations at his Rio de Janeiro base, as well as with Luke Rockhold and Chris Weidman ahead of their middleweight title showdown.
