'We need a rematch, it was really not a fight' - Aldo reacts to devastating defeat

McGregor mind games didn’t affect me, says stunned Brazilian as he counts cost of defeat.

A STUNNED JOSE Aldo immediately called for a rematch after Conor McGregor sensationally stripped him of his UFC featherweight title.

McGregor needed just 13 seconds to dispatch the Brazilian — handing Aldo his first defeat in more than 10 years.

“He threw a cross on my chest which I wasn’t expecting,” Aldo said.

“Then I threw a punch and he came back with another cross, and that was that.

I think that we need a rematch. It was really not a fight. I think that we need to get back in there.

Aldo, who arrived in Las Vegas with an unbeaten UFC record of 7-0, denied that McGregor’s mind games had unsettled him.

“It didn’t affect me at all. I really don’t care what he says.

“We’re going to have to come back here, and it’s on to the next one at this point.”
