'I'll smack him in Ireland!' - Here's how it went down between McGregor and Aldo in London

The stage is set for this evening’s UFC fan event in the Convention Centre Dublin.

OVER 4,000 IRISH fans will pack into the Convention Centre Dublin this evening to see Jose Aldo square off against Conor McGregor on the final stop of their UFC world tour.

The champion and the challenger spent Sunday and Monday in London where Aldo took in the friendly between his native Brazil and Chile before they both took care of their media obligations.

Now the stage is set for their final face-to-face in front of McGregor’s partisan home crowd.

The Dubliner has promised fireworks and warned “I’ll smack him in Ireland!” They probably won’t come to blows but after all of the needle between them in the past fortnight, they might come close.
