UFC fans will want to keep 31 March free as McGregor and Aldo are coming to Dublin

The pair are set to embark on a world tour ahead of their championship bout at UFC 189.

IRISH UFC FANS will get the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Conor McGregor and featherweight champion Jose Aldo ahead of their championship bout at UFC 189 when the fighters come to Dublin on 31 March.

The pre-fight event, which is part of a world tour, will take place at the Convention Centre in Dublin with entry for the public free of charge.

Starting in Rio on 20 March, the pair will travel to eight cities in five different countries over a 12-day period as the build-up to their much anticipated fight begins.

As well as hosting press conferences in New York, Boston, London, LA and Las Vegas, McGregor will be a special guest at Ireland’s upcoming European Championship Qualifier against Poland at Aviva Stadium on 29 March.

The championship bout is the main event at UFC 189 on 11 July at MGM Grand Garden Arena.
