Snapshot: Spartak Moscow fans bid McGeady a fond farewell

AIDEN MCGEADY may be surplus to requirements at Spartak Moscow these days, but that’s not how the fans see it.

The Ireland international has been transfer-listed by the Russian side and looks a certainty to take up residence in England next month.

So, with that in mind, it was pretty decent of Spartak fans to unfurl this banner, as tweeted by @EmeraldExiles ) during this weekend’s landslide 6-1 victory over Volga Nizhny Novgorod.
