Aiden McGeady just got Ireland out of jail with a 90th-minute gem

McGeady strikes late to give Ireland a 2-1 win in Tbilisi.

AIDEN MCGEADY WAS Ireland’s hero with a sensational 90th-minute winner against Georgia this evening.

Ireland’s Euro 2016 campaign looked set to get off to a disappointing start in Tbilisi after McGeady’s opening goal was cancelled out by Tornike Okriashvili in the first half.

But the winger delivered a moment of genius at the death, dragging the ball back on the edge of the box before curling the ball beyond Roin Kvaskhvadze.
