IT HAS BEEN billed as the fight of the century, but Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach has mischievously suggested that Floyd Mayweather could back out before the duo face off in Las Vegas on Saturday.
In an interview with USA Today, Roach admitted he still is not convinced that Mayweather will actually fight Pacquiao.
Asked about his thoughts on the fight, he interjected: “If [Mayweather] shows up. I am still worried about that.
I won’t believe it until I see him in front of us in the ring.
Roach is insistent that he has legitimate concerns over whether Mayweather will show up to the fight.
“I just think he was forced into this fight,” Roach said.
“He didn’t want this fight. Every fight he has had in his lifetime was one that he picked.
This is the first one he was forced into and I feel he was uncomfortable. They made him take it, Showtime.
It would be a costly leave for Mayweather if he does decide to skip it as he is set to make more than $150 million from this fight.
Always been very impressed with how McFarland explains his thinking. Clarity helps an organisation immensely. Would strongly recommend the Mindset book to everyone.
Ulster a young squad and very much a work in progress but that progression is happening slowly and surely McFarland is trying to instil a structure throughout the club similar to what’s in place at Leinster were everyone is on the same page everyone has the same mindset players seamlessly slot in and out of the team I for one have been very impressed with his leadership and results achieved
