As Paul Pogba's transfer saga continues, his brother will tog out for Partick Thistle tonight

25-year-old Mathias is in Falkirk for a Scottish League Cup fixture.

PAUL POGBA IS currently on holiday, living it up in the United States and in the midst of a record-breaking return to Manchester United.

But thousands of miles away, his older brother Mathias is preparing for his third game of the new season.

The 25-year-old currently plies his trade with Scottish Premiership side Partick Thistle, having joined from Crawley Town last year.

Tonight, he and his team-mates are in Falkirk to take on Stenhousemuir in their League Cup clash, hoping to make it three straight wins.

The tournament has been re-formatted and now begins in the middle of the summer to give teams more competitive fixtures in the off-season.

At the weekend, Pogba was heavily involved in both goals as Thistle got the better of Queen of the South.

Born in Guinea, the attacker grew up in Paris but began his youth career with Celta Vigo in Spain. He has struggled to find a long-term home though and has turned out for six different teams over the last seven years.

His twin brother, Florentin, is a defender and has been with Saint-Etienne since 2012.
