Marshawn Lynch has finally broken his silence ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl

The Seahawks’ running-back actually said something interesting today.

MARSHAWN LYNCH ISN’T a fan of speaking to reporters, but because of the demanding media schedule that comes with Super Bowl week, the Seattle Seahawks’ running-back has been in the news over the past few days.

He’s been fined before for refusing to speak to the media, so — as he’s done previously this season — Lynch has repeatedly answered every question this week with responses such as “You know why I’m here” and “I’m just here so I won’t get fined”.

Seattle’s Super Bowl XLIX clash with the New England Patriots is just three days away, so Lynch was wheeled out this afternoon for his final press conference of the week.

But the 28-year-old decided to go out on a high, delivering a message for the journalists who had turned up expecting his usual reluctance to co-operate.

“All week I done told y’all what’s up, and for some reason y’all continue to come back and do the same thing that y’all did,” said Lynch.

He even appeared to have an alarm set on his phone to remind him of when his media obligations officially ended.
