Ulster signing Coetzee flies in to get settled before he completes knee rehab

Meanwhile, Rory Best was determined to redefine the phrase ‘farmer’s tan’.

SOUTH AFRICAN BACK row Marcell Coetzee has arrived in Belfast for a settling-in period before completing his recovery from a knee injury.

The 25-year-old tore his ACL while playing for the Sharks in April and is not expected to return to the playing field until the new year, but has been undergoing a rehabilitation programme with the Super Rugby side.

Speaking in this video released by Ulster today, Coetzee is taken around the new Kingspan Stadium by Les Kiss. He and his wife meet players, staff and look at the wall of fame while Coetzee makes sure to mention the word ‘culture’ a lot.

Coetzee will continue to ‘settle in’ over the next two weeks and the province say he will join the squad full-time next month.
