Man United in discussions with Tinder over £12m-a-year sleeve sponsorship

The popular dating app could be set to appear on the Premier League’s shirt, according to a report.

WHEN IT COMES to sponsorship deals, few clubs in the world can rival Manchester United.

Click onto the Premier League club’s website, and you’ll see dozens of official partnerships with multi-national companies — from Adidas to Uber.

General Motors currently pay £53million-a-year to put Chevrolet on the front of United’s shirts, and dating app Tinder could now be set to get in on the action.

According to the Daily Mail, the online service for singles is in discussions to become the Red Devils’ sleeve sponsor.

The Premier League has changed its rules to allow the introduction of sleeve sponsors for the upcoming season – which begins in 10 days — and nine clubs have already availed of the opportunity.

Tinder’s proposed deal with United is said to be worth £12m-a-year.

The Silicon Valley-based company already has a partnership with Serie A side Napoli, that even saw a Tinder profile set up for their Polish striker Arkadiusz Milik.

So don’t be surprised if one of United’s players pops up on the site in the near future…
