MANCHESTER UNITED ARE threatening to ban fans from their upcoming Premier League clash with Sunderland if they do not buy a ticket for their FA Cup replay against Cambridge.
The club say supporters will have their season tickets suspended if they do not pay the additional £50 for the Cambridge match, with many fans so far neglecting to buy tickets for the FA Cup replay.

The Red Devils operate a system whereby season ticket holders are required to pay additional fees for cup matches, and the club have written to those who have yet to pay for the Cambridge match with a warning.
As part of the season ticket scheme, there are however opt-out clauses for Capital One Cup matches, while only under 16s are allowed opt out of FA Cup games.
It is further stated that fans who do not abide by these rules will be given a one-game stadium ban.
Some supporters have subsequently expressed anger at the club’s behaviour, with one fan telling the Daily Mail:
“I find it unbelievable that the club think they can treat loyal supporters like myself that spend thousands with them like this — sending an email making threats and setting deadlines.
“This isn’t the first time this has happened and I’m sure it won’t be the last. I’m sick to death of having emails like this.”
A United spokesperson added: “The terms and conditions are clear: “in respect of each home cup match for which the Ticket Holder fails to provide valid payment card details or for which the Ticket Holder’s card or payment is declined, the Ticket Holder’s Season Ticket may be suspended for one home league match.”
