ROMELU LUKAKU MADE his Man United Premier League debut in the Red Devils’ opening game against West Ham at Old Trafford this afternoon, and took just 33 minutes to open his account at the club level.

The £75 million summer signing from Everton broke his opponents’ offside trap and collected a Marcus Rashford through pass, before finishing coolly to hand United a 1-0 lead going in at half-time.

The Belgian striker then doubled the hosts’ advantage on 52 minutes, glancing the ball home from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s pinpoint delivery.

There were some new faces in the Hammers’ starting line-up too, with Joe Hart, who was brought in on loan from Man City in the summer, handed a debut.
