CONNACHT RUGBY STAR Mils Muliaina is understood to have been arrested tonight.
Speaking to The42, a spokesperson for the Gloucestershire police department confirmed that a man in his 30s had been arrested after Connacht’s defeat to Gloucester on suspicion of sexual assault.
A statement from the department reads: “A man in his 30s was arrested at Kingsholm Stadium tonight Friday, 3 April on suspicion of sexual assault in relation to an incident in Cardiff in March.

“The man will be handed over to officers from South Wales police, who are investigating the incident.”
Sky Sports reported that Muliaina was arrested and television pictures showed him leaving the ground with police.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that Muliaina would join Italian side Zebre at the end of the season.
Connacht Rugby have since issued a statement, which reads:
“Connacht Rugby can confirm that player Mils Muliaina is currently assisting the South Wales Police with enquiries relating to an alleged incident in Cardiff in March of this year. As this is a legal matter, Connacht Rugby will be making no further comment at this time.”
